Brief History
Lycée Adonis was founded in the year 2000 by a presidential decree to accept students in different educational cycles from nursery to
high school.
Our institution was ranked second on the national level and first across Mount Lebanon for CELF on May 26/2012. That is due to the high language level and ongoing training of our teachers. That is in addition to being part of the “LABEL FRANCEDUCATION” network since 2016.
Dual language Education System (French_Arabic or English _Arabic)
Our school teaches the Lebanese Curriculum,and students undergo the official exams in grade nine, and the Lebanese Baccalaureate
Arts and Humanities- General Science- Life Science – Economics and Social sciences.

As our preschool welcomes children, starting from the age of three.
Languages, mathematics, and sciences empower our students with basic knowledge.
In addition to preschool, the elementary, middle school and secondary school, prepare the learners for universities and higher learning in Lebanon and all over the world.
Teachers and Students
Lycée Adonis welcomed 1126 students for the scholastic year of 2018-2019in both French and English sections.
Since receiving the CELF logo, a training plan has been put into action by 24 hours session training from the institution in Lebanon on March 31, 2012 for all French language teachers. Its aim was to determine the teachers’ ability to interact, and to understand the importance of preparing students to daily life experience. It also dealt with school books and preparing an educational plan for DELF junior which classifies students and prepares them through exams support aids, and differentiating between the four language activities.

Foreign language Certificates
Every graduate in the French section receives the DELF B2.
Lycée Adonis has recently signed a contract with the British Educational council that will enable every high school student in the English section to be evaluated through Cambridge English Language.
Partnership and Projects
We have a partnership the French center in Lebanon Deir Al Qamar.
We also have a partnership with “world Youth” organization in Toulon France.
This organization that we are a part of conducts international forums in which many French speaking countries participate in “Peace and Brotherhood in the World”.
Participated in “Brotherhood in France” in June 2019 through a group of teachers and students from our school through writing a book called “Book from A to Z” (Police Story) sponsored by Ministry of culture ALEF and with the help of NOUR Organization.

Child Protection Policy
Several Lebanese laws address child protection and sexual abuse. Lebanon’s Law No. 422 (2002) was the country’s first self-contained child protection legislation. It established civil juvenile courts, juvenile judges, and social workers for case management.

The child’s best interests are the paramount consideration in all decisions affecting the child.
This includes responding to allegations or suspicions of abuse, providing support and services to protect children, and holding those who have harmed them accountable. The primary goal of child protection is to ensure that all children are safe and free from harm or danger.
