About Us
Lycée Adonis was founded in 2000 by a presidential decree. Located in Kfarchima, a Lebanese village in the Baabda district, approximately 12 km from Beirut, the school welcomes students across all educational cycles, from preschool to the final year of secondary school.
In May 2012, Lycée Adonis was awarded the CELF (Centre d’Études de Langue Française) label, becoming the second school in Lebanon to receive this distinction. This linguistic quality label is granted by the French Embassy to francophone institutions that meet specific criteria, including the certification of their French language teachers.
In June 2016, the school was among eleven Lebanese francophone educational institutions to receive the LabelFrancÉducation, a quality mark awarded by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development. This recognition highlights the school’s commitment to promoting excellence in bilingual francophone education.
